Hello Bl4ckCh1p Looking around, it appears that you will need to use something called ndiswrapper to get your card to work. Ndiswrapper as its name suggests, wraps itself around the Windows drivers to enable cards that don't have native support in Linux. There is a howto here: that covers the basics of getting ndiswrapper to start. Where the author has mentioned specific files you just need to replace the references with the names of the files from your Windows driver.

What you are looking for are the.inf and.sys files from the driver. If you look at this site: and search on ACX111 I think the third reference down gives a link to where the drivers may be obtained if you can't find yours. Post back with any questions. As it stands, if it were going to work the output of ndiswrapper -l would be like: Installed drivers: netwg311 driver present, hardware present So I think something is incompatible with ndiswrapper here. I notice that on the Netgear site there are four different versions of the driver on offer. With one of their cards, not the 311, I've had to work through all of their drivers one by one until I found the one that would work with ndiswrapper and the card. If they are available by the way, I think you can probably rule out any Vista drivers in those packages.

Ndiswrapper is great with drivers it knows about, but changes in the spec from the one it was designed to work with can have strange effects. If you have the patience to try that is my only suggestion at this time.
